Job Description

Our Senior Cloud Engineers are focused on architecting, implementing and managing the core technology infrastructure and enterprise systems. Depth in knowledge in working with various IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings from CSPs as well as third-party providers. You will be responsible for research, architecting, implementing, and creating tools that automate, monitor, and scale infrastructure within Azure, AWS, and GCP within IL2-IL6 environments. 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise on infrastructure engineering with an emphasis on modern cloud infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and on-prem solutions

  • Architect, deploy and support complex networks to secure communication to/from existing enclaves

  • Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, scale infrastructure, and provide highly available enterprise-level information systems

  • Ability to present research findings and technical information in a concise manner that can be understood by non-engineers and gives decision-makers the context and key points necessary to make necessary decisions

  • Prepare white papers and informational memoranda on technical areas of interest, such as tactical edge architecture, service integration, etc

Qualifications

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • Currently holding a TS/SCI clearance

  • This role is mostly remote, with a focus on the DMV area for location

  • Hands-on experience with deploying, configuring, and automating a variety of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions with AWS, Azure, and GCP environments

  • Deep understanding of Enterprise level Networking components such as BGP Routing, ACLs, Firewalls, Load balancers, VPN, SSL, TLS, SMTP, DNS, DCHP

  • Extensive knowledge with IAM principles for Authorization and Authentication models

  • Familiar with Containerization (AKS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, etc.)

  • High proficiency in working within virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, Redhat)

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with RMF is a big plus

  • CI/CD pipeline development

  • Terraform, Ansible, Puppet experience

  • Scripting knowledge a plus (Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell)

  • Azure or AWS certifications

  • Knowledge of the DoD is strongly preferred
