Overview

Come join Intuit'sDevX Observability and Analytics Team as a Backend Software Engineer. The DevX Observability and Analytics Team is building a game-changing platform to drive operational excellence across Intuit's product portfolio. We are building products to process massive amounts of Observability data - logs, metrics, traces, events; and deliver intelligent insightful experiences. These experiences enable our engineering teams to reduce time to repair, resolve and increase product availability. Intuit is on a mission to power prosperity around the world, and the Dev X Observability and Analytics team is an impactful enabler for this mission.

We are looking for someone who has a passion to write code, be it backend code or infrastructure as code. This role focuses on the metrics and observability side and will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our next-gen metrics pipeline.

What you'll bring

• • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Strong understanding of Software and System fundamentals
  • 4-6 years of experience developing in Java
  • Proficiency in Java performance tuning
  • Golang, Python knowledge would be a plus
  • Experience with AWS and working with large-scale distributed systems
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical vision with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Coding expertise to design and implement scalable, modular, and secure services and infrastructure providing data-centric solutions to all of Intuit.
  • Work as part of a fast-paced scrum team.
  • Develop, test and deploy your own code.
  • Monitoring tools setup and configuration
  • Experience with NoSQL or Elastic Search or other data processing systems will be a plus
  • Prefer to have open-source contribution experience
  • Previous experience with any Observability system is a big plus.
  • Using or participating in observability projects such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry
