Role Overview 

Join our community! We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team! We use Python 3.8+, Django, and Django REST Framework to build RESTful APIs which are focused on resources. The pod that you will be joining is responsible for building and expanding the core logic that underpins our payments and accounting rails.

We are looking for candidates who are interested in our tech ecosystem and approaches, have a passion for quality and continual learning, and who are willing to dig deep when debugging gets confusing. What You'll Do

• Build and ship features on a platform already used by thousands of users per day
• Be an integral part of our Finance Enablement pod
• Work closely with the accounting, finance, and compliance teams to ensure they have what they need
• Participate in sprint planning, code review, and continual learning
• Work with the team to refine and improve specifications and user stories
• Debug problems, write documentation, and unit tests where required
• Be mentored and mentor others as we work to up-level our development process

Who You Are

• Exhibiting strong attention to detail and a passion for quality
• Able to communicate effectively with remote teams
• Experienced balancing multiple projects and priorities
• Experienced with Python and Django
• Interested in the world of accounting, finance, and compliance
• Desire to learn every day
• Having 4+ years of experience developing software; a related degree is nice but not required
