Rails Backend Engineer, Verify:Pipeline Insights

The goal of the Verify:Pipeline Insights team is to provide automated testing integration into the GitLab CI workflow so that users can more easily utilize unit tests, code coverage, accessibility testing, and performance testing. Our goal is to surface actionable insights from these tests to all members of the team from developers and testers to team leads and VPs.
Some of the work the team has been doing which may give you more insight into the position is:
- Enforce Code Coverage for Merge
- Test History for MRs and Pipelines MVC
- Code Coverage Data for Groups
Essential skills:
- Significant professional experience with Ruby on Rails
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
- An inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility
- Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.
- Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills.
- Share our values, and work in accordance with those values
Nice to have:
- Professional experience with Golang
- Experience with the GitLab product as a user or contributor
- Experience working with a remote team
- Computer science education or equivalent experience

For Colorado residents: The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently $96,000 - $163,200 for Colorado residents only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary. Disclosure as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq.
