Job Description:
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for leading efforts to develop and deliver complex automations across data platforms to accomplish technology and business goals. Primary focus will be in determining the areas of automations and implement solutions to achieve operational efficiencies. Key responsibilities include architect and design solutions applying predictive analytics and integrations with data platforms and services. This role will provide technical thought leadership based on the significant experience built through implementing multiple complex solutions, and knowledge of the interaction across multiple data domains and platforms.
The role may include:

• Build automations supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, data quality controls, dependency and job executions
• Utilize multiple architectural components in design and development of automated solutions for data platforms operational effectiveness
• Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solutions establishing process improvements
• Strong leadership and collaborative skills with the ability to handle multiple challenging and demanding priorities
• Strong hands on expertise in building web applications end to end using Angular 8, Spring framework along with leading multiple user base applications
• Agile Development experience (XP, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery), with specific Solution Architect (or similar) experience
• Expertise in implementation of automations through scripts and modules
• Excellent troubleshooting techniques and capabilities
• Adapt to any changes and be able to grasp business requirement and strategies of the team
• Mentor more junior Data Engineers and coach team members in the delivery

Required:

• Prior experience with data load, streaming, analytics and virtualization platforms
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant automation experience
• Data-oriented approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Agile Methodology and Artifacts, JIRA,
• Confluence content creation
• Bitbucket / Git (or other version control)
• Angular 8 and above,
• JavaScript, Spring, CSS, Nodes.js, RESTFUL APIs, GitHub, HTML
