Job Description We're building the Next Gen Vaulting and Secrets Management platforms at Chase and are looking for a senior architect to join us in this exciting journey!
Working as an Architect, your passion for technology and thirst for innovation will help shape the future of firm-wide secrets management platforms, now and for years to come. The successful candidate will deliver technology solutions that address business needs by developing the Architecture Solution for the various software applications and platforms. The candidate will have experience architecting and designing platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies, working with geographically diverse teams, etc.... have a proven track record of strong communication and people skills as well as have experience working in a structured and agile product development lifecycle.
The candidate must be able to partner effectively across the organization, in particular with, Applications Development, Product Owners, Product Management, Risk & Control, and Business Management partners. Experience working with a sizeable technology organization with complex programs is a plus, in particular in Vaulting/Secrets Management or Identity and Access Management with exposure to corporate functions at an enterprise-wide and global level.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • 10+ years of software system design experience
  • 5+ software development experience in modern programming languages (Java, Python, React, JavaScript, C#)
  • Technical expertise in at least one public cloud platform: AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP
  • Proficiency in Cloud enabled architecture and design of high performing, secured Restful APIs
  • Experience with DevOps practices - CI/CD pipelines and public cloud (AWS)
  • Experienced in container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
  • Experience working in Agile env with modern CI/CD and DevOps principles
  • Solid background in Cloud-first environments and building cloud native platforms
  • Executed technology modernization initiatives including migration to cloud native and API strategy
  • Mastery of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines including 12-factor app design
  • Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
  • Technical depth and ability to rapidly understand and communicate the impact of solutions and technology
  • Experience collaborating with business representatives to understand requirements, value, prioritization and business intelligence needs
  • Strong communication skills (Ability to present in front of peers as well as to Senior Management)
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment. Comfortable in a fast-dynamic environment with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in Secrets/Vaulting or Identity and Access Management solutions is a major plus
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
