About the job
The Red Hat Global Partner and Technical Enablement (GPTE) team is looking for a Senior Architect to join us. In this role, you will create advanced and innovative technical content including customer-facing demonstrations and workshops and training courses focused on Red Hat Application Services solutions like Red Hat Fuse, Red Hat AMQ, Red Hat 3scale API Management, and Red Hat build of Quarkus. You will deliver the training material developed by the team to Red Hat's associates and partners. This is a role with global scope and contact with stakeholders in business units, presales, services, and partner teams across all regions. You will establish relationships with business unit and engineering teams to ensure that the technical enablement for the right offerings and solutions is being delivered to Red Hat's associates and partners. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Work with Red Hat business units and field teams to identify enablement needs for existing and upcoming offerings and solutions
  • Design enablement course agendas based on requirement gathering and learning objectives
  • Develop enablement content, including practical interactive labs and presentation material
  • Deliver product and solutions training through instructor-led and online classes
  • Collaborate and develop demonstrations content using Red Hat's offerings and solutions
  • Collaborate and develop workshop content using Red Hat products and solutions
  • Develop and support innovative solutions used in the Red Hat Product Demo System (RHPDS)
  • Provide escalation support for demonstrations and workshop content provided by RHPDS
  • Participate in team scrum and agile development and reporting methodologies
  • Attend, present, and provide support at Red Hat and partner events


What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Relevant Red Hat certifications like Red Hat Certified Enterprise Application Developer or Red Hat Certified Specialist in Messaging Administration
  • 10+ years of software development or IT industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with middleware or software development
  • 2+ years of experience working in a technical sales, consulting delivery, or technical support role
  • Application development experience using modern Java
  • Experience or applied knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform or Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of public cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and IBM
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible
  • Ability to deliver technical presentations
  • Knowledgeable and conversant with open source technologies and industry trends relating to open source as well as the public cloud marketplace
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent work streams and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Willingness to travel when needed for planned training and team meetings, following Red Hat's COVID-19 guidelines
  • Experience or solid background with one or more of the following - integration technologies like Red Hat AMQ Streams, Red Hat Fuse, Red Hat 3scale API Management, Apache Kafka, Apache ActiveMQ, or Apache Camel, runtime technologies like Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, Red Hat Data Grid, Red Hat AMQ Broker, Quarkus, Spring Boot, or Red Hat SSO, and process automation technologies like process automation manager and decision manager
