Job Description
As a senior manager of Application Development for HCB (Health Care Business) Data Products Organization, you will be leading a team of IT professionals focused on developing, enhancing, maintaining and supporting a wide variety of reporting and web applications for various business units serving both internal and external user base. You will be joining an organization specialized in building consumer focused data products and beliefs that well engineered processes coupled with servant leadership lead to great products and satisfying workforce. We are on a mission to transform our technology and data products and with your thoughts, ideas and leadership, you will be instrumental in shaping up our Data and Cloud strategies and hitting our objectives.
Successful candidates will have strong engineering skills, relentless thirst for advancing and modernizing technologies, passion for dealing with large and complex data and effective communication and people skills.
Responsibilities:• Lead a global team of IT professionals and manage activities and deliverables related to application development and system ownership.• Build trust with business and technical stakeholders by delivering solutions aligned with business and IT expectations, of high quality, on-time, and with measurable value.• Drive and collaborate with architecture and other stakeholders in defining system roadmaps per IT and business strategy.• Research emerging and cutting-end technologies and drive POCs and Pilots iteratively and quickly.• Increase technology efficiency, agility and flexibility by replacing legacy technology with modern solutions.• Review and evaluate delivery effectiveness; recommends project course corrections when needed.• Manage and govern production assets and ensure that consumer and business services operate at the highest service levels appropriate to the experience• Champion the advancement of DevSecOps, CI/CD and Agile practices and processes• Create an inclusive culture that supports creativity, inspires innovation, stimulates engineering excellence and promotes collaboration and team empowerment.• Manage resource forecasts and allocations; align resources, establish responsibilities and monitor critical path.• Identify and address development needs of the team; prepare resource contingency and succession planning; develop and grow talent
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 95,000
Maximum: 209,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications• 6+ years of professional experience designing, developing, implementing and supporting IT systems with at least 3 years as a team lead or supervisor.• 3+ years of leading and delivering solutions in Web and Reporting technologies.• 1+ year adapting and practicing an Agile Methodology.

Preferred Qualifications• Experience developing or managing solutions in J2EE and/or Spring Framework or .Net stack.• Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, C#.• Experience in developing or leading reporting solutions using tools like Micro Strategy, Tableau, Crystal, SSRS.• Strong SQL and Database (DB2, SQL Server) knowledge.• Development or architecture background in Microservices and Web Services (SOAP, REST)• Experience utilizing cloud infrastructure and cloud-based services. Working experience in Azure would be a plus.• Experience in CI/CD tools, advancing DevSecOps practices and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD)• Delivery experience in Agile Methodologies like SAFe.• Experience in Healthcare domain.
