Job Title : Senior Application Developer

Location : Norfolk, VA

Job Duties:

ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Application Developer in our Norfolk, VA location. Responsibilities: Participate in relevant aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, designing, developing, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Develop and review software requirements, create design documents, write programs, package, test, configure, and deploy software. Design and develop SharePoint custom solutions involving custom workflows, content types, event handlers, timer jobs, master pages, site templates and page layouts. Design and develop application models, framework webparts, dashboards, and reports. Debug and troubleshoot technical issues and suggest alternate designs and code fix for the issues. Design, develop, test, and refine software deliverables. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related Engineering discipline or another related field plus six (6) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree plus six years of experience.

Work Experience:

Two (2) years of experience must include: SharePoint On-premise; Office 365; .Net Framework; C#; .Net; ASP.NET; JavaScript; jQuery; React; PowerShell Scripts; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code IDE; SQL Database; Ajax Toolkit; JSOM; CSOM; REST API's; and Server Object Model.
