Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic Application Developer to join our growing team to design, develop, and maintain software solutions critical to the operations of CVS Health by incorporating and utilizing approved standards and technologies in the analysis and design of complex solutions. You will utilize your deep understanding of software architecture to provide and deliver timely solutions. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing technical solutions
- Collaborating with business analysts and business partners
- Coding with best practices in mind
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members
To be successful, you will need to bring with you the proficiency and understanding of current technical concepts and principles to ensure compliance with the quality standards. Your success will be determined by your ability to effectively develop the application within guidelines while implementing new features in a timely fashion. Your ability to collaborate and develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be tested. Ultimately, your success will have a direct impact in creating robust solutions, streamlining processes, and creating additional efficiency and accuracy for everyday processes.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,000
Maximum: 167,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
* 5 or more years of professional coding experience
* 3+ years of .Net with C# experience
* 3+ years of .Net, Angular, MVC, JavaScript
* 3+ years of SQL query skills, SQL performance tuning & optimization, SQL Server stored procedures
Preferred Qualifications
* SSIS and SSRS experience
* Visual Studio, SQL Server, 3rd party controls (i.e., Telerik)
* Data delivery support - data feed and file transfer methodologies
* Understanding of Web security
* Understanding of new technologies and trends
* Desirable experience with health care or PBM industry
Education
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Equivalent Combination of Education and experience may be considered
