Senior Application Developer - BART
What You'll Do:
- Support tools for Integrated Program Management; Proposals, Contracts and Budgets.
- Collaborate with Information Technology peers, Information Security and business users to clarify application requirements, design and implementation.
- Apply application development/configuration best practices including documentation and change management.
- Retiring in-house tools and modernize to functionality in IPM and CRM platforms.
- Facilitate peer-programming and design sessions/reviews with team members, including participation in code reviews.
- Ensure quality development standards by using techniques like Unit Testing and Peer Reviews.
- Work closely with Business and Quality Assurance Analyst to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly identified, fixed, and tested.
- Take the lead on solving and implementing difficult technology challenges and drive our team to successful delivery.
- Exhibit a professional, positive and productive work environment.
- Mentor team members to progress their technical and professional skills.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's in Information Technology or a related technical field plus 8 or more years related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Preferred Business Process Analyst experience.
- Java experience.
- Application interface/integration experience.
- Azure GitHub experience.
- Understand Business dataflow for Integrated Program Management.
- Salesforce experience.
- 5 - 10 years project lifecycle forecasting experience:
- New Business
- Project Planning
- Cost estimating
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, professional, and able to communicate with all levels of management.
- Ability to work under minimal direct supervision.

- HIRING SALARY RANGE: $108,500 - $149,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
