The role of the Aerospace Corporate Chief Engineer’s Office (CCEO) is increasingly important in a time of change - where the space domain is transforming to a competitive international arena, where space development involves new and innovative technologies and business models, and where intersections are maturing between military, civil, scientific, and commercial space. The Enterprise Systems Engineering Office (ESEO) is responsible for advancing CCEO core capabilities and innovating new solutions to support the transformation of the Space Enterprise. The ESEO Senior Project Leader is responsible for: advancing mission assurance practices, working across the corporation and the enterprise to foster collaboration and integration, managing and disseminating corporate wisdom, and bringing a broad technical perspective to hard enterprise systems engineering problems.
What You’ll Be Doing
Identify and develop mission assurance approaches that serve a highly dynamic future space industry
Build bridges across a large and diverse customer set to achieve enterprise integration and efficiency
Evolve corporate processes and instructions to address Aerospace customers’ needs for speed, resilience, and innovation in a contested environment
Manage and improve the corporate knowledge base and develop new ways of information sharing
Provide thought leadership to advance agile mission assurance and systems engineering initiatives
Advance Continuous Production Agility (CPA) across space, launch, and ground
Establish, facilitate, and lead Aerospace and partner forums to improve the state of the aerospace industry
Advance and evolve the Early Problem Alert Program, the Industrial Base Action Team, and the Aerospace President’s Review processes
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, science or math
12 or more years of progressively responsible relevant professional engineering / scientific experience including program office and systems engineering
Moderate Travel Required (post COVID-19)
Current SCI access, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance

$117,027 - $192,281 - $267,534
