The Security Engineer will assist Ramsey Solutions in developing truly secure products and maintaining secure systems by providing best-in-class security services to the organization, while passionately pursuing personal and organizational excellence in the field of security. Under the leadership and guidance of the Director of Information & Product Security, you will play a crucial role in advancing the technical and operational capabilities necessary to implement a robust product security strategy - one that is worthy of the trust placed in us by our customers and business partners.

What Winning Looks Like:

• Provide application/product security guidance and direction to product engineering organization.
• Perform application security assessments of internally developed products and systems.
• Build threat models of internally developed products and systems.
• Advise and educate development teams with respect to application security best practices, security automation within the CI/CD pipeline, and the proper use of application security products and services.
• Assist in responding to product security incidents where application/product security expertise is required.
• Work closely with a team of security engineers, in conjunction with product development, to ensure to the best of our abilities that company products and services withstand all foreseen attacks.

Skills Needed to Win:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering; or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience as a software engineer/developer in a product development organization.
• 2 years of hands-on, in-depth experience in application security, in the role of security engineer, reviewing, assessing, and providing guidance to product development teams.
• Experience should include threat modeling and static security code analysis.
• Knowledge of network security, public cloud security (particularly AWS), PKI, and cryptography a plus.
• GIAC and Offensive Security certifications highly desirable.
