As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will champion efforts to enhance the security of our SaaS and development environments. Using industry best practices and security frameworks such as CMMC and CIS, the DevSecOps role will help drive security automation and innovation across various cloud services and assist in security operations across the organization. The position will be responsible for working in a cross-functional manner across many different teams and product lines within the ecosystem and requires strong communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to work independently.

Here is what you will do:

• Design, implement and maintain DevSecOps tools and processes
• Act as a liaison for IT Security in DevOps and development teams
• Understand the tools and processes of developers to inform decisions on security approaches
• Planning, implementing, and maintaining security policies and technical security solutions within DevOps pipelines, source code, data stores, runtime environments, and other DevOps-related assets
• In addition to security responsibilities, this engineer will have secondary duties within the scope of a (non-Sec) DevOps Engineer related to implementing pipelines, supporting development tools, provisioning environments, and other DevOps activities
• Analyze, triage, and manage incoming security events based on various data points, log sources, and network statistics
• Automate tasks pertaining to container security, hardening, baselining, vulnerability scanning, vulnerability scanning, pen testing, and CI/CD
• Work closely with IT Security and Compliance to understand requirements and focus
  areas for security and privacy

Position Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an equivalent role
• Experience in configuration of Google tenant security
• Experience with container and microservices security
• Implementation of application security
• Security configuration of data infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD security integrations
• Experience with scanning tools such as Checkmarx, Veracode, and Xray
• Deep knowledge of networks, databases, infrastructure, and applications from a security perspective
• General Test automation experience

Interest and willingness to work with a variety of technologies, including:

• Terraform
• NodeJS
• Golang
• PostgreSQL databases
