As a Quality Assurance Engineer in our delivery team you will work alongside customer relationship management, sales and the technical teams to coordinate and validate releases of our online banking platform to our customer environments. Using your experience in working with cross functional teams in a software development organization, along with your experience in the banking domain, you will ensure that releases to our customers are delivered without defects.

Diligence, attention to detail and close collaboration through excellent communication will be your biggest assets. You will ensure that our customers remain fully up to speed through all phases of the release process to ensure they validate the product prior to releasing to production. Nowhere will your communication be more important than if we encounter any challenges, where your help in communicating between the customer the rest of the team will ensure that they are resolved as quickly as possible.

A new release is the first opportunity a customer has to experience our development team's work, and by managing the quality of each release you will make sure client upgrades are successful. You will use your insight into how our solution is released to and used by our customers to help establish best-practices, provide input to quality standards, look for continuous improvement initiatives and help the team grow as they pursue initiation of an Automation Strategy.

Required qualification, skills and experience for consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent combination of comparable work experience and education
  • 2+ years of prior work experience in software quality assurance or release management
  • Strong knowledge of software methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Testing end-user facing web and mobile applications
  • Working with Agile and Test management applications such as JIRA, Quality Centre, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player yet able to work with minimum supervision



Preferred qualifications, skills and experience for consideration:

  • Experience working in Banking, Payments or other financial environments
  • Testing backend interfaces through tools like SoapUI and Postman
  • Contributing to an established Test Automation framework (Special consideration given to experience in establishing an Automation Strategy)
