Do you enjoy solving challenges at an enterprise scale? We are looking for a talented Engineer to join our rapidly growing Development team! As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will use your technical skills and develop a quality assurance mindset and approach. You will utilize your core software development skills to implement end-to-end automated testing.

 

You will work to seek out solutions to complex problems through iteration and collaboration. Armed with the dual knowledge of development and testing, you will help develop best practices in the detection, documentation, and tracking of issues within an Agile/Scrum environment. You will create test automation to ensure key functionality across the application(s) being developed by the team. 

Our team includes experienced engineers with an appreciation for business strategy, software development, and testing in all forms. As a successful SDET, you are expected to have expertise in the project structure and testing suite of the products we are building. Within three months, you will have successfully integrated with the team, implementing consistent testing procedures and processes which ensure the success of the overall project. 

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3 –5+ years writing code in Java programming language/frameworks 
  • Test-driven development experience in Agile/Scrum environments 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Experience with API (RESTful) testing tools, such as Postman
  • Experience with continuous integration processes (ex: Git, pull requests, branching)
  • Ability to decipher and contribute to technical communication documents
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (ex: Junit, JEST, etc)
