THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is looking for two Scala developers with experience in large-scale solutions using AWS.
Developers with 10+ experience is required, with strong communication and a history of using agile techniques.

We have a great opportunity to work on a greenfield project with a major US broadcastiing company.
Contract length will be for a period of 12-18 months.
Background from the client
The client wishes to replace two key platforms, identity management and ecommerce. Their current systems are deemed to require too much rewriting to solve current problems and to scale.
As such, this work is a true greenfield and an entire new team is being recruited to build the new systems.
The client wants a platform that will enable scale, using modern technologies and patterns, offering a better user experience for downstream applications in order to compete with other streaming companies such as Spotify.
The scope of the new work is to build a series of services, including:
Device service
Location service
Household service
Session service
Token service
The client is mostly based in New York, so on ET timeframes (-5 hours)
