SATCOM Systems Engineer
Description
SAIC, a premier provider of advisory services to the Government, is seeking a forward-leaning self-starter capable of balancing multiple priorities and applying extensive RF and satellite communication expertise in support of an exciting and impactful customer mission. A willingness to travel to support overseas activities is required.

Qualifications
- Must currently hold a TS/SCI & Poly
- 14+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience performing satellite communication functions such as the technical analysis of satellite-based communications equipment; providing technical support during the planning, development and testing of satellite communications equipment; and supporting the deployment of communications systems overseas
- Solid understanding of RF communications principles
- Systems engineering experience for project acquisitions to include familiarity with Statements of Work, System Requirements Documents and engineering development milestones
- Experience supporting technical exchange meetings with vendors to advise customers on the technical aspects of projects
- Willingness to travel overseas to support the setup, operation and maintenance of communications systems. Travel could range from 10-50% of the time depending on where things are in the customer project lifecycle
