Job Description

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with SAP ME functional design, configuration in conjunction with SAP PP.

• Must have hands-on experience with configuration and set up on all ME functional modules including but not limited to Shop Order, Material, Routing, POD, ERP interfaces, Integration with Label printers, barcode readers and PLC’s, ME Reporting.

• Lead requirement analysis, write a functional specification and conduct functional unit and integration testing of SAP ME.

• Should have participated in at least two SAP ME implementations.

• Must understand detailed Working on SAP MII and UI5 including but not limited to MEINT, Business Logic Services, Query and Display Templates.

• Hands-on experience in developing custom hooks, activities, plugins.

• Sound understanding of SAP ME/MII/PCo Solution Landscape, Sizing.

• Good understanding of Web Service/ XML Processing/ XSLT required.

• Basic database skills (MSSQL or Oracle) and understanding of SAP ME backend data structures.

• Exposure interfacing DCS/ SCADA/ Historian system like IP21/SCADA with SAP MII is required.

• Experience in Reporting Tools.

• Good Understanding of Project methodologies and implementation lifecycle.

• Effective communication, organization, and planning.

Required Skills

• SAP ME

  • At Least one SAP ME (6.1 and above) Support experience.

• SAP MII

  • SAP ECC/S4 Integration using iDocs/BAPI's

  • Exposure to using SAP ME PAPI's in SAP MII BLS

• Database

  • Proficient in writing complex MS SQL Procedures/functions

  • MS SQL Database monitoring/tuning

• SAP UI5

  • Proficient in js/XML view

  • Exposure to consuming data exposed through OData

• Others

  • Proficiency in writing/modifying XML/XSLT, javascript, jQuery.

  • Understanding/Experience of Discrete Industry

Nice To have

• Background knowledge in discrete manufacturing industries.

• Understanding ECC, Machine Integrations would be a huge plus.

• Exposure to SAP ABAP is desired.

• Exposure SAP PM/PP-PI/QM is desired.
