Salesforce Solution Architect

The IT team is a global organization committed to delivering on the Rapid7 mission of closing the security achievement gap by leveraging technology and data to make our employees more productive and efficient. This includes creating great experiences from on-boarding to workplace experience, business applications and data integration, commercialization of Rapid7’s products and services, and direct-facing customer experiences such as support, billing, and payment. The team is made up of engineering, product management, service experience, operations, IT security, networking, and systems engineering teams all delivering using agile and lean methodologies.

About the Role

As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will assist the Head of Enterprise Architecture and Application Development in architecting and integrating Salesforce technology and process solutions that result in quality systems and services that meet the needs of Rapid7. 

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop and configure customized solutions

• Work with business owners and Business Systems Analyst to analyze technical requirements for new features/capabilities within Salesforce 

• Work cross-functionally with different teams and systems to maintain and improve upon Salesforce integrations & data integrity

• Function as a release manager, approving configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments. Where appropriate, this could include deploying changes,

• Recommend and document best practices 

The skills you’ll bring include:

• Deep understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and AppExchange solutions, knowledge of Gov’t Cloud would be a plus 

• 4 to 6 years experience in a leading role delivering Salesforce projects 

• 2 to 3 years as a Solution Architect 

• A strategic approach to solution design, with a proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy

• Familiarity with Agile scrum methodology and JIRA/Confluence tooling 

• Security domain expertise or mindset
