Salesforce Engineer, remote opportunity
Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Software Engineer, you'll join a highly collaborative team that specializes in development work related to a Salesforce implementation used by our financial professionals and internal partners within our Principal Securities business. We're looking for a passionate engineer who has an interest in Salesforce development with an engineering mindset who can help configure, build, and develop Salesforce solutions and other integrated systems. You'll partner directly with technology teams and business partners to understand their needs and provide solutions. This team works in an agile environment with high collaboration and mobbing/pair programming.
This role allows the excellent opportunity to support the upskilling of others on the team with the development functions in Salesforce. We'll look for this individual to knowledge share and be a Salesforce mentor for others.

Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering, or math-related field) or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of software engineering experience
- Prior experience working in the Salesforce platform
Additional preferred technical experience:
- Salesforce Development (Apex, Lightning)
- JavaScript/Java
- Python
- CI/CD

Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range
$58700 - $172800 / year

Work Environments
This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You'll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
