About the Role


As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for configuration, administration, and implementation of continuous improvements to our systems ultimately enabling us to scale efficiently as a revenue organization. You bring a mix of business analysis skills and a passion for leveraging Salesforce and other technologies to solve business challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the day-to-day administration of our Salesforce instance
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve user issues with the Salesforce platform
  • Manage user setup, roles, profiles, and permissions
  • Manage organization sharing settings and sharing rules
  • Manage and develop CRM architecture improvements including but not limited to customization of objects, fields, record types, and page layouts
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance connections between Salesforce and integrated applications
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance workflows, including flows, validation rules, process builder, etc.
  • Build, test, deliver, and provide post-delivery support for system improvements
  • Drive improvement of existing processes, and ensure new builds are performed with long-term scalability in mind
  • Collaborate with and support stakeholders to define requirements for complex projects and prioritize system improvements, including creating operational process flows, defining use cases, designing the interface, conducting UAT, and change management
  • Identify opportunities to develop solutions that maximize the effectiveness of our business
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, business flow diagrams, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users
  • Stay up to date on Salesforce platform enhancements and features and apply them to our org

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Experience connecting, managing, and auditing Salesforce integrated applications
  • Consulting or project management experience delivering end-to-end solutions, including gathering business requirements, designing appropriate solutions, and implementing solutions for the Salesforce CRM
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator required, Advanced Administrator a huge plus
  • Apex knowledge a plus
  • Agile methodology background a plus
  • Four (4) year degree required
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-growth start-up environment and with minimal supervision
  • Enthusiasm and positive attitude
