Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all technical aspects of RPA design, development and implementation for new and enhanced projects.
  • Work both as an individual contributor and team lead in the creation and ongoing refinement of RPA solutions.
  • Provides the optimum architectural platform for rapid and repeatable delivery of automated processes.
  • Work on Integrating applications like (WebServices, MS Office, GUI, Outlook etc.) using workflow, automation tools
  • Supports the development and documentation of RPA configuration best practices
  • Configure new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, repeatable, and easy to understand.
  • Provide architecture guidance to the team working on RPA products/projects with strong focus on solution architecture, architecture artifacts, performance, scaling and security
  • Lead interactions with various IT teams including architecture, security, and infrastructure
  • Work with Business Analysts, Business partners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting automations
  • Design, develop and test End to End automation solutions for internal clients using Automation Anywhere
  • Drive the strategic and tactical roll-out of the RPA solution by creating and documenting End to End test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases and supporting the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases
  • Work on Process Definition Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD)
  • Create process model for windows-based application using Automation Anywhere and testing it in the inbuilt control room
  • Test the code in Dev, UAT and Production environments and solve the environmental issues on time
  • Troubleshoot and assist with higher complexity RPA configurations


Attributes

  • Excellent understanding of current RPA products and technology & upcoming trends in RPA technology landscape
  • Solid understanding of various underlying technologies used in RPA such as Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Cognitive Computing, Machine Learning, Pattern Matching, Analytics etc.
  • Experience in leading architecture aspects of software development with strong emphasis on Object Oriented analysis and design (OOAD), layered application development, domain driven design, and architecture design patterns
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technology, security, network, and internal business teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience as well as produce clear and concise written documentation
  • Give regular demos to business users
  • Troubleshoot production issues for existing automations and participate in an on-call rotation as-needed
  • Mentor developers and performs code reviews for quality control


Qualifications

  • Degree in IT, Accounting, Supply Chain or Business
  • Hands on experience with Automation Anywhere within the A360 environment
  • Hands on experience with complex SQL scripts and databases / data mining
  • 9-12 years of professional services experience preferably using automation and/or integration projects
  • 5+ years of RPA development experience using Automation Anywhere
  • Experience in leading a team of junior developers
  • Understands agile software development methodology, configuration management and lifecycle
  • Experience with the one or more of the following is preferred:
    • Cognitive software tools
    • Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or above)
    • C# and/or Java, html, css
    • Microsoft Technology (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services)
    • Scripting languages (e.g., python, perl, powershell, bash, vbs, etc.)
  • Experience with the one or more of the following is required:
    • Cognitive software tools
    • C# and/or Java, html, css
    • Microsoft Technology (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services)
    • Scripting languages (e.g., python, perl, Powershell, bash, vbs, etc.)
  • Certification in Automation Anywhere is preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work through ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing the most critical tasks & projects
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently to break down roadblocks and drive results
