Job Description:

  • Performs programming activities which may require research using books and/or internet resources
  • Comfort in an Agile Scrum environment with two-week sprints spanning requirements to delivery
  • Must have great attention to detail, and be committed to delivering quality results
  • Follows technical design documentation and instruction to create prototypes and applications utilizing programming languages which are supported and approved by Arbor management
  • Provide technical support for new and existing code base
  • Ensures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software with minimum discovered defects
  • Create required technical documentation for designs and deliverables
  • Adherence to company standards, policies, and practices
  • Collaborative work with team members to ensure all work is properly tested, secure, and functional
  • Collaborative work with team members to rapidly and thoroughly diagnose, identify, and remediate issues and defects
  • Other tasks and assignments as instructed by management


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Convert script designs into code following approved patterns and techniques
  • Follow both technical and non-technical documentation to develop new feature functionality for software
  • Identify, isolate, troubleshoot, debug and correct defects in designated code
  • Dig in to problems, exhibit a thirst for learning and exploring new concepts / solutions
  • Performs support and maintenance activities on time and with high-quality
  • Develop programs, scripts, prototypes on projects with low to high complexity
  • Accept constructive guidance and mentoring from more senior developers and team members to progress professionally and grow technically
  • Prepare test plans and conduct unit and/or integration testing as needed
  • Collaborate with others to clarify requirements and designs
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a larger group to achieve common goals
  • Identify and communicate new features or enhancements that could be made to improve the RPA business processes and/or applications used
  • Ability to learn and maintain our existing bot environment
  • Able to occasionally work nights and/or weekends, as needed, to perform system maintenance (role has rotating on-call for weekends - would need to be on call approximately once a month)
  • Role is Remote but candidates must be based in Franklin/Nashville, TN area

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (in technical/CIS/Math field preferred) or 1+ years relevant work experience in development in a predominantly Microsoft environment (coursework will be considered)
  • Expertise required in Windows platforms, development tools including but not limited to .Net programming languages including C#, VB.Net, T-SQL
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, priorities, project and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to deliver quality results
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs/requirements
  • Must be located in Franklin/Nashville, TN area

  • Experience in Python, Java, RPA platforms, and version control preferred
