Remote - Talend / Azure / Databricks Developers
Job Description:
This is a developer's dream job. Working on Hadoop projects with the latest technologies and software stacks. As a developer in our Analytics team you will be able to design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze moderately complex software programs and solutions for computer-based systems. You will also be working on large scale deployments using Big Data methodologies.
Job Function and Responsibilities
- Performs moderately complex systems modeling, simulation and analysis to provide appropriate software solutions.
- Develops software system testing procedures, programming and documentation to ensure standard use of procedures.
- Provides input for documentation of new or existing programs to ensure information accessibility, as required.
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots and analyzes software programs to ensure compatibility with hardware systems.
- Customizes software based on research and customer needs as appropriate.
- Coordinates and facilitates communications with other departments and/or commercial vendor(s) to investigate and resolve software matters of significance and to ensure proper functioning of systems.
- Maintains communication with management and customers regarding status of software development and problems.
- Acts as technical lead on large projects involving a particular software package(s).
- Provides the customer base with first level support.
Available Positions
- Talend ETL Developers
Development of data movements using SQL Server and ETL tool TalendBuild the interface to extract the data and determine any and all transformation Finally, build the necessary code to load the data into our Data Warehouse. Hands-on experience of 2-3 years on Talend ETL environment. Knowledge to interact with HDFS and MapReduce. Write scalable and maintainable ETLs. Have worked with a Hadoop distribution.
- Azure (ADW & ADF) Developers
Knowledge and implementation on Azure Data Factory, SQL DB & Datawarehouse. Should be able to analyze and understand complex data.
Knowledge of Azure data lake. Creating reusable and scalable data pipelines. Use Azure BI services for development of Big Data Platforms.
Create reusable components for rapid development of data platform.
- DataBricks Developers
Develop Azure Data Factory Objects - ADF pipeline, configuration, parameters, variables, Integration services runtime.
ADF data Ingestion and Integration with other services.
Hands-on knowledge of ADF activities(such as Copy, SP, lkp etc) and DataFlows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient at schema design, data modeling concepts and SQLExcellent problem-solving and analytic skills
- Expertise in writing and understanding complex SQL queries
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail
