Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is modernizing a top ten US bank's critical systems and data processes including very heavy efforts around cloud data marts. They need a Python or Java API Developer to come in and develop APIs for multiple different Data Tools and products.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong working experience in Spark programming
• Hands on professional experience in languages like python and/or JAVA on Hadoop and Big Data tools like Hive, HDFS
• Working experience in Kafka for streaming data / real time data with Spark
• Hands on experience in development using Rest API web services through python/Java
• Deployment of API through gateway services
• Setting up Network and monitoring, domains creation/setup, secure backup-recovery, user/groups creation and access control etc.
• Experience in API management like Mulesoft or any API management services

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries
• Knowledge in using Mulesoft for API Development and Gateway
• Knowledge in Spark structured streaming
