Description:Candidate will provide Reliability Engineer to support the Tactical Missiles Advanced Program. The selected candidate will perform reliability predictions, failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS). This job requires the ability to develop, conduct, and coordinate reliability plans and procedures to include conducting technical studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.

Also needs to be able to compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics; investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes; develop mathematical models to identify units, develop batches or processes posing excessive failure risk; develop testability / Built-in-Test (BIT) for new designs; and ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.

As necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability. Support of design reviews and test activities as required.

-Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

MFCE&T
Basic Qualifications:
Active Department of Defense Final Secret Clearance.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college (preferably in an engineering focused discipline) OR equivalent experience/combined education.

Experience with performing reliability predictions.

Experience with reliability FRACAS.

Experience with the Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) process.
Desired Skills:
Experience with performing BIT analysis.

Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding.

Practical hands-on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.

An analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation. Experience with statistical concepts and analysis.

Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Experience with Relex software tool.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret
