Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Reliability Engineer to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide technical expertise to determine the reliability of components, equipment, and processes by performing R&D, modeling and simulation, logistics analysis, engineering analysis and engineering investigations and studies in support of the program office.
• Perform reliability analyses, risk analyses, component improvement and support life-cycle management programs to ensure fully integrated and affordable system readiness, in addition to analyzing cost metrics based on reliability improvement recommendations.
• Provide technical direction and advice to the integrated program teams at all stages of aircraft development and life-cycle phases, to include sustainment.
• Develop and apply disciplined methods and processes that implement engineering concepts in accordance with the established standards.
• Perform design analyses and calculations for reliability related aviation projects and prepare final solution recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in an Engineering field
• Knowledge of and practical experience with technical drawings in accordance with industry standards
• Practical experience with computer aided design applications and functions
• Knowledge and practical implementation of reliability / systems engineering process with focus on model-based engineering methods
• Serve as technical advisor to other junior engineers on complex engineering problems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five years experience in reliability engineering or a related field
• Aviation background
• Experience with PMA readiness initiatives and degrader analyses

• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Security Clearance Requirements:

• To hold or obtain a US Government Secret Security Clearance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $93,500-$155,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
