Release architecture team is working cross functioning between, product, engineer, operation and vendors to ensure ZOOM product features get released on time and implemented properly.
As a Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for the overall delivery of Professional Services' solution for Zoom Projects. This includes project managing the release plans and coordinating with product managers, engineers and operations. This role requires an exceptional capacity for cross functional interaction and leadership
Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the engineering and Product Management team to plan the release rollout to the production.
  • Manage all releases components within ZOOM product line
  • Document release process and policy
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce a release checklist
  • Develop a project plan & track progress across cross-functional teams
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce a release checklist

  • Manage and escalate project risks and issues as appropriate, and establish success metrics for projects and ensure performance is tracked and measured
  • Create release dashboard for greater transparency within product & GTM organizations


Qualifications

  • Require a BS degree in CS, MIS or its equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience as a release engineer
  • Programming experience (C++, SQL, Java or Python)
  • Experience working with Tools like Jira, Product Board, Asana etc.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage large teams
  • Operation deployment knowledge and good understanding of deployment requirements, dependence
  • Works well under pressure and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, & self-motivated
  • Strong internal drive, a bias for action, and the ability to build internal champions across the organization
  • Bonus: proficient in Mandarin to work with peers
