RAN Software Development Engineer

Role Summary
Mavenir is looking for a RAN Software Development Engineer with a strong technical background in 4G LTE/5G NR and hands on experience on L1, L2 Scheduler/MAC/RLC or L3.
Key Responsibilities
- Become part of a strong international team to partner in the building a 5G RAN product
- Play a significant role in architecting, designing, and developing a carrier grade product
- Support the deployment of software in a production network
- Support RAN integrations, verification and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- 9 to 20 years overall experience in Wireless product development in 4G LTE/5G NR or other Wireless protocol stack development.
- Should have hands on experience on L1, L2 Scheduler/MAC/RLC or L3.
- Solid and proven software development skills and coding practices in C/ C++ in a Linux environment.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile networks, especially on 3GPP NR standards in RAN.
- Familiar with debugging tools (gdb), configuration management tools (Git) and test tool (TM500, QXDM, QCAT, etc). Field deployment experience will be an added advantage.
