As a Manager, QMS-EPS: Non-Conforming Product (NCP) Standard, within Global Quality at Micron, you will be responsible for setting the Micron requirements for deviation management. You will also be responsible for leading other special projects that contribute to the overall enhancement of Micron's Quality Management System.

We aim to hire analytically strong people and its critical for this role in managing NCP. We expect you to assess problems, develop creative solutions, and make sound decisions.
Communication
This is a connective role with important interfaces across product development, engineering, and operations. You must have strong technical writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively. When communicating with non-technical audiences, you demonstrate the ability to simplify complex subjects to be understood easily and efficiently.
Project/Program Management
Work ethic, responsiveness, and results orientation matter! With everyone driving hard to achieve the company's goals, it is critical to have strong project planning and structured approaches to big decisions. This must include following a methodical approach to change control.
Change Leader
Change requires real leadership. You need to have the ability to influence and enthuse others through personal advocacy, vision and drive. This position can be uncomfortable and requires you to embrace the tension, listen and learn if we are to continuously improve.
Job Description

  • Help to manage the EPS End-to-End (E2E) process from detection (customer/internal) to resolution for all priority levels, coordinating problem resolution and escalation.
  • Partner with functional groups to ensure engagement.
  • Provide oversight of the NCP/MRB development and maintenance of metrics and reporting.
  • Ensure processes are documented, roles and responsibilities are defined, expectations are clear, and that training is provided.
  • Work in a multi-discipline team environment on processes and projects, ensuring that there is team cooperation and contribution leading to a successful outcome.
  • Use statistical methods to identify systemic issues and drive to solution.
  • Coach/mentor other team members.
  • Drive continual improvement of the Standard, process and programs.
  • Coordinate updates to the executives and internal communications.
  • Be a point of contact for EPS/NCP/MRB.


Qualifications
Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Previous experience in a Fabrication, Product engineering, Global Quality or another relevant group.
  • Previous experience in leading material review boards (MRB) and knowledge of Micron's processes around NCP.
  • Knowledge on what a QMS is and exposure to ISO9001:2015 and IATF16949:2016
  • The ability to interpret and effectively resolve complex, technical or ambiguous requests and problems.
  • Experience coordinating projects and efforts across many different project groups.
  • Must have a proven ability to motivate others and motivating a team of people
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of people
  • Strong communication skills, ability to assemble, analyze, and evaluate data and provide well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to support the business stakeholders.
  • Be self-directed and able to multitask and prioritize projects
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage workloads successfully and provide outstanding customer service
  • Respond well to constructive feedback.
