The Business Financial Office Technology team within Finance Technology consists of extremely talented engineers, who develop industry leading financial management platforms that provide solutions to provide Management Reporting & Controls, Disclosure Reporting.
We are looking for looking for a talented and highly Quality Engineer. The right candidate will help deliver functionality to the chief financial officer's organization to be more effective in managing the bank's overall financial control process.
Role Overview
Quality Engineer who will be responsible to continuously improve test processes (Root Cause Analysis, Correction and Preventions) and Ensure effective and efficient application of test processes and tools.
Required Skills and Experience we are Looking For:
• Must have 8+ years of experience
• Must have agile experience
• Seeks to continuously improve test processes (Root Cause Analysis, Correction and Preventions
• Implement critical knowledge transfer and communication processes with all teams
• Test Management - Ensure effective and efficient application of test processes and tools using techniques such as White box, Grey Box, Black box, Test-to-Pass, Test-to-Fail and automation
• Continuous Improvement - Help define, improve and implement test processes and tools
• Responsible for management and coordination of all testing activities on assigned projects including definition of testing approach, test effort estimation, progress and status reporting, training and education on D&B QA processes and tools
• Providing continuous review and recommendations for improvement of processes related to status reporting/dash-boarding and QA
• Coaches and supports team - Knowledge Transfer
• Define project requirements and deliverables based on scope
• Plan coverage projects from initiation through closing states
• Create test coverage documentation, test execution plans, and metrics reports
• Prefer to have someone who has automation experience
Desired Skills and Experience we are Looking For:

  • Experience and desire to work in an Agile process (pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc.)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of problem domain in which they have been working
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion to learn new technology.
  • Relevant industry (banking middle/back office/Finance) experience
