Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze and dissect software requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases
• Ability to write test cases and execute testing
• Product test and driving defect resolution
• Establish and maintain test cases and test data
• Create and maintain test cases in Rally and/or Jira
• Work on ETL (Extraction Transformation Loading) Analysis and Execution
• Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance
• Work with business users, system analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyze various required project documents
• Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects
• Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality within Information Technology software
• Comply with standards and strategies of the agile scrum methodology
• Detail oriented and dedication to releasing defect free implementations
• Ability to write database queries and commands across various databases
• Works with less structured, more complex issues.
• Serves as a resource to others.

Technology Quality roles will cover all primary quality activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver high quality products and services. These roles include, but are not limited to, strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience
• 3+ years of Hands-On experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with database tools and writing database queries and commands
• Experience with Rally, Jira or a similar test management tool
• Hands-on experience in all types of testing including unit, integration, system, sanity, smoke, regression, acceptance, performance, load, stress, volume and reliability/resiliency.
• Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience
• Experience working in a Cloud environment (Azure)
• Experience in Healthcare/Finance Industry
• Good communicator at all levels of the organization
