Job Description
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Quality Assurance Manager in Collegeville, PA to oversee integration of computers in overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition transmission and processing. Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Conduct internal studies and/or audits on client and product development/engineering or operations team activities to evaluate if processes and deliverables fulfill requirements for quality, to uncover errors or deficiencies in processes and deliverables and to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement; studies and audits include issues such as profitability, productivity and quality. Manage and/or participate in overall audit process. Monitor applicable business unit work to ensure consistency and compliance with standard processes. Contribute to the tactical and strategic planning for future quality programs. Stay current with process-related industry standards. Communicate quality information throughout the organization. Support development and delivery of training in quality matters. Lead and mentor quality assurance team members.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: working in an environment using Quality Center (ALM), Waterfall methodology, JIRA, JSP, CMS, HTML, and Oracle/SQL Server; monitoring, evacuating, managing, and executing audit processes to ensure compliance; coordinating and facilitating quality assurance activities across projects with project managers; designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design; reviewing progress toward software quality assurance plans regularly; and establishing IT service quality control standards, policies, and procedures. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience in the above mentioned fields. Telecommuting or working from home is permissible.
