Quality Assurance Manager
Job Description
Duties: Managing QA Offshore Team and QA resources in US. Recruiting, Training and Mentoring QA Resources at Offshore and Onsite. Evaluating and Promoting people based on their Performance. Managing Appraisals, Performance feedbacks and Compensation discussions with QA resources. Implement and Standardize QA Processes and other QA initiatives across the Teams. Enforce Automation across the Teams, help remove the bottlenecks for Automation. Responsible for developing QA people and still do day-to-day work of Testing Application and creating Automation scripts. Support manual test teams by working closely with them to automate their main features. Develop and execute automated test cases to validate business requirements and system stability. Report results of test execution. Setup and help maintain specific end users and datasets for the Automation team. Assist in the knowledge transfer of the current automation layout to other groups. Generate test metrics for both manual and automated tests. Job titles of subordinates: Quality Assurance Analysts. Telecommuting is permitted for this position
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 4 years of experience. Requires 4 years of experience with all of the following: QA testing: manual, automation, regression and API (FIX protocol) testing; Broker dealer – fixed income securities trading; Leading a QA team; Standardization and implementation of QA processes and other QA initiatives.
