Quality Assurance Analyst
We're seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the outgoing software and technical products meet and exceed quality standards. The QA Analyst will work with a cross-functional team of product managers and project teams to develop, implement, and execute testing programs that improve the quality and reliability of our products. While this role is team-based, a successful QA Analyst will be self-directed and take ownership of our product's overall quality.
The QA Analyst should have a passion for technology and a natural aptitude for problem-solving.
The QA Analyst must have strong end-user empathy and a willingness to perform testing “in the trenches.”
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute QA testing programs for our mobile and web applications
- Develop and execute QA testing programs for our entire product, including hardware such as mobile devices, barcode scanners, and high accuracy GPS receivers
- Develop and execute QA testing programs for end-to-end solutions, including software applications, hardware, reports, exports, and APIs
- Support project teams with client-specific configuration testing
- Support project teams in developing testing scripts for clients
- Support R&D projects through the field and end-user testing
Required Experience:
- Two years demonstrated experience performing software testing and QA/QC
- Familiarity with software and testing management tools like Jira and TestRail
- Development of test scenarios and test scripts
- Defect management and documentation best practices
- Testing frontend and backend API (Restful)
Desired Experience:
- Understanding of field testing mobile applications in real-world environments
- Hands-on experience with integrated hardware-software
- Understanding of common debug tools
- Familiarity with Bluetooth technology
- Experience with mobile GPS technology
