The Quality Assurance (QA) & Testing Advisor primarily responsible for functional testing (Manual and automation). This role is responsible for the strategy and drive the test automation efforts in functional testing space. This role is responsible to drive the efficiency in functional testing. With a mindset of "automate first," this role will ensure repeated activities are automated. Role will be 1/3 of the time driving automation, 1/3 of the time customer (internal) facing, and 1/3 of the time writing and executing test cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.
  • Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, and quality of the service or product.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing and work with businesses to validate results.
  • Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process.
  • Ability to produce and report team progress and performances against a set of key metrics (Value, Savings)
  • Support troubleshooting, bi-weekly release testing
  • Guide offshore team in testing
  • Promote the use of automation for test execution and as a service for application and business partners
  • Design the test automation roadmap and define governance standards to ensure adherence
  • Recommend the test design approach for each phase (in-sprint, system, regression, integration, performance, volume, and stress)
  • Lead/Direct team to integrate test automation into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery approach

Experience / Qualifications:
  • Several years of experience as Quality Analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in use of any automation too
  • Provide leadership in testing for projects of various sizes and levels of complexity
  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies and disciplines including Waterfall and AGILE and understand how to test within both paradigms concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal skills including but not limited to: problem solving, decision making, influencing, change management, written and oral communications along with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively, as well as manage outsourced/offshore testing arrangements
  • Experience in MS SQL

Preferred Experience / Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry knowledge and experience
