This is a remote position. We are a global team that leverages the latest technology to communicate with our colleagues across the globe. When it’s safe to do so, there may be times in which this role would be required to travel to a local office for in person collaborations with your team.

 Being a QA Engineer at iManage means…

As part of an agile team, you will closely collaborate with development, user experience, quality assurance and product stakeholders. In this role, you will learn how customers use iManage’s Risk & Compliance products so that you can effectively test and stress the software. You are responsible for analyzing functional requirements, creating test cases, creating test automation, and communicating the output to cross-functional teams. You will utilize Jira, Python, SQL Server, C# and iManage products to be successful in this role.

Here is what one of our leaders, Lead QA Engineer (John Thomas), has to say about the role: ”The goal is to expand and build on top of our current test framework. This role is heavily focused on automation and there is a lot of opportunity in this area since we have several other solutions that need automation. Ideally, this person will work cross functionally and collaborate closely with other testers, developers, project managers, etc. for inception of new features.”

iM Responsible For…

  • Designing and building test environments and test data sets
  • Analyzing functional requirements to design, implement and execute test cases and test automation
  • Collaborating and communicating with the team and management regarding test status, project progress and issue resolution
  • Representing the software quality engineering team throughout all phases of larger and more-complex development projects
  • Maintaining awareness of current development, testing, commercial and open-source offerings of interest
  • Striving to consistently learn and improve within the company as well as share general development trends with the team

iM Qualified Because I Have…

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a testing environment
  • Experience with UI and Backend Test Automation
  • Fluency in Python, SQL, C#, and CICD development
  • Experience in the architecture and creation of automation frameworks, test harnesses and/or QA focused tools.
  • Strong coding experience with languages like Python, C#, SQL, etc.
  • Knowledge of virtual environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Points If I Have…

  • Knowledge of performance, security, unit, stress, reliability, load, and white-box testing
  • Exposure to a cloud environment
  • Experience with iManage software
