Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to conduct testing on software, websites, and other technical products to identify bugs, defects, and other potential issues. They will represent TeamSupport Core Values by championing them with the commitment that demonstrates a true understanding of their significance.
What you will work on:

  • Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
  • Analyzing user requirements to understand application design.
  • Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.
  • Identifies, logs, and recreates error codes, bugs, and defects.
  • When a product does not perform within specifications, reports defects to engineers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
  • Review documentation of software defects and reports to software engineers to investigate and resolve the issue.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
  • Create, Maintain & Execute test design, plan & cases.
  • Ready to work in closed group and pressure situations
  • Experience working with UI and API applications, mobile Automation would be a plus.
  • Closely work with the Test and Dev team and own the module.
  • Brainstorm and analyze user requirements.
  • Run daily regression and sanity tests and report issues to closure.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


What we are looking for in you:

  • Bachelor's degree in related fields preferred.
  • Three years of related experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of software and database testing including designing and manipulating test data.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to create test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, troubleshooting, critical thinking, organization, detail-oriented and process-oriented skills
  • Proficient with Google Suite or related software.
  • Good understanding of test processes
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge
  • Able to follow direction and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with various levels of staff.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Exposure to cloud based service like AWS
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new requirements as needed.
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations and be productive.
  • Automation experience and exposure to test automation tools is preferred
