QA Engineer (Commander)

Job summary:
This is a position within the QA Engineering team working under the guidance of an engineering team lead. The Software QA Engineer must be a detail and process oriented, independent, self-motivated individual with a proven track record of experience testing software in diverse environments for multiple platforms. The QA Engineer will be working on the Keeper Commander command line tool application team specifically. The QA Engineer will report to the Software QA Team Lead and will work in the El Dorado Hills, California office (hybrid remote/in office availability required).
Responsibilities:
- Testing and verifying the Keeper Commander command line tool application per our standardized QA process.
- Setup and configure test tools as needed to accomplish testing goals.
- Work with JIRA and Confluence to process tickets and document work as required.
- Work with Testrail to perform test cases and update test cases.
- Configure desktop and operating systems and applications to conduct application testing.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- College degree in a computer science or a comparable engineering discipline
- System Administration experience
- Security experience
- Experience with Python is required
- Experience with JavaScript, GoLang, .NET (C#), PowerShell
- Experience with Java (Koltin) is required
- Experience with SQL and creating SQL queries.
- Experience with Github Actions
- Experience with test automation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of REST and API testing
- Knowledge of CLI tools, SDKs
- Testing on Windows and Mac OSX
- Good understanding of fault tolerance, multi-tenancy
- Skilled in building robust, scalable, and high-quality test plans for functional and regression testing
- Ability to build test strategy and work independently on complex projects
