Job Description The Chief Technology Office (CTO) for JPMorgan Chase oversees enabling components inclusive of the top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices required to make us a leading technology company. We will drive firm-wide efforts in critical areas such as Cloud Enablement & Adoption, Technology Portfolio Management and Rationalization, Platform and API Strategy, Development Tooling and Practices, Big Data and Machine Learning services, Data Architecture, Reference Architecture, and Technology Data Management.
This position is firm-wide in scope and will require significant collaboration, influence, and leadership across all technology organizations that support all lines of business and functional areas (e.g. Risk, Finance, Compliance etc).
The Enterprise Technology Services and Data Management organization in CTO has a specific mandate to deliver world class services to other groups across the firm. We will accomplish this by delivering innovative automated solutions that remove error-prone manual tasks and leverage the full strength of enterprise solutions and public cloud. This position will require you to be an expert-level delivery leader with lengthy experience in producing valuable outcomes for stakeholders.
You will be joining a team that maintains a constant focus on designing strategic solutions, delivering innovative products on leading edge technologies, and leveraging the scale of the firm to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responsible for leading and managing delivery on key product deliverables with firm-wide scope
  • Monitors delivery to identify issues and escalates accordingly
  • Experience with agile delivery and DevOps practices
  • Communicates well to technical teams as well as senior executive management
  • Coordinates resources (team, partners, vendors and consultants) across one or more work efforts
  • Coordinates feature validation plans with key stakeholders and manages activities to completion
  • Leads medium to large sized teams in software delivery
  • Interacts with executive leadership and partner organizations to successfully deliver on product commitments
  • Experience with executive status reporting
  • Demonstrated problem solving experience in complex technology environments and large enterprises
  • Be a leader on key projects that deliver meaningful change to the firm


Preference is for this position to be in Wilmington, DE
Skills & Qualifications

  • Leadership and management of commitments for mission critical product deliverables
  • Familiarity with Product Management
  • Experience with roadmaps, milestones, and scoping/estimation
  • Issue Management
  • Agile Delivery
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Critical Thinking (anticipates problems and establishes methods to mitigate)
  • Effective communicator to c-level executive management
  • Expert level competency in managing complex delivery efforts
  • Public cloud experience a definite plus
  • Lengthy experience working in agile delivery teams a definite plus
  • Demonstrated experience with partnering across teams to deliver on desired outcomes

About the Team The Chief Technology Office oversees enabling components inclusive of the top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices, key program management and processes as well as the technology workforce strategy required to make us a leading technology company for our customers, clients and colleagues around the world.
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters.
