The Lockheed Rapid Advanced Payload Team -1 is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be part of a team developing technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Support RAPT-1 manufacturing, assembly operations, and testing to ensure vehicle is proper assembled, tested, and on schedule.
• Support/Develop Assembly and Integration CONOPS, supporting the development of MGSE tooling and all other necessary equipment to perform integration operations.
• Support engineering/design issues on the manufacturing floor at the Courtland AL Facility.

This position is in Rocket City USA, one of the greatest places to work: Huntsville, AL and Courtland, AL
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
• Experience in product manufacturing, assembly operations, testing or equivalent environment.
• Experience with factory production operations, quality control, and/or product delivery or equivalent.
• Experience leading teams such as design engineers, test engineers, manufacturing personnel or equivalent.
• Must have a Secret Security clearance
Desired Skills:• Experience in developing complex program schedules, management, and execution.
• Experience in spacecraft and/or aerospace production environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
