The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Lead/Support the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) Agile Scrum Team to ensure designs complete on-time and support the AUR Production CONOP.
• Support/Develop Assembly and Integration CONOPS, supporting the development of MGSE tooling and all other necessary equipment to perform integration operations.
• Support the design phase of the MGSE using Agile principles and planning.

This position is in Rocket City USA, one of the greatest places to work: Huntsville, AL
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) and/or the MGSE design process
• Ability to lead a project with a cross functional diverse team.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products to include Microsoft Project.
Desired Skills:• Experience in product manufacturing, assembly operations, testing or equivalent environment.
• Experience with DoD hardware and tooling/MGSE design
• Experience in spacecraft and/or aerospace production
environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
