As a Project Engineer Sr Staff you will Lead a broad range of projects that will challenge you to learn and grow in your career. Working side by side with designers, test and manufacturing engineers, you'll use your education, experience and growing expertise to develop and evaluate new and innovative technology to survive in the most hostile of environments.

As a Project Engineer Sr Staff you will:

Lead a team of multifunctional engineers & logisticians in the development of product support strategies to meet program goals for operational effectiveness and supportability considerations.

Manage the development & delivery of all 14 Logistics Engineering CDRLS.

Develop, Manage and implement the IPS strategy to include Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and LORA development.

Develop, Manage and implement the sustainment strategy for NGI major end items.

Basic Qualifications

Previous experience in Logistics within the US Military, DoD Logistics environment or a commercial division supporting duties relating to government logistics.

Knowledge and experience with Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and/or Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) and/or Missile Defense Agency (MDA)

10 years experience in Logistics Engineering

Have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired skills

Masters degree

Have knowledge of weapon system program lifecycles and how early achievements may drive future costs

Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment)

Positive demeanor, accountable and responsible and able to work in a team-focused, dynamic environment

Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, with the ability to lead multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members and build consensus among peers

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $88,700 - $147,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
