As a Project Engineer supporting the THAAD program team, you will perform as strategic thinker using innovation to redefine the future of the THAAD System for international pursuits.

Your responsibilities will include:• Support International captures and pursuits• Support Independent Research and Development (IRAD) initiatives• Conduct planning for new business initiatives and support presentations• Develop an understanding of and implement principles of Earned Value Management, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), logistics, and Risk Management• Learn to identify project risks and appropriate mitigation strategies with consideration for cost and schedule impact and support execution of risk burn down plans• Organize data and provide overall ORSA support to line of business programs

This position is in Rocket City USA, one of the greatest places to work: Huntsville, AL

To be successful, you will typically have a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree from an accredited college • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information verbally, visually and in writing • Demonstrated leadership skills• Experience in computer-based analytical tools and office applications / MS Office• US Citizenship required.• Security Clearance Requirements = Secret Clearance. This position requires a U.S. Government security investigation. Successful determination of eligibility within sufficient time to meet Lockheed Martin business needs is a condition of employment. Please note: the Government is solely responsible for determining eligibility. Failure to obtain and maintain the required eligibility determination may result in termination of this offer and loss of employment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
