As a Product Manager on the Security Engineering team you’ll be responsible for driving how we scale our security services to enable Coinbase to run. You’ll work closely with Security and Engineering customers to expand our security services covering application security, data security, 3rd party dependency management, compliance, trust and safety, and beyond. You’ll join a small and growing team shaping the future of security enabling the crypto economy.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Work with Security partners to build the security services that scale the crypto economy
  • Collaborate with Security partners to define roadmaps in areas like application security, data security, 3rd party dependency management, compliance, trust and safety, and beyond
  • Drive new feature development alongside Engineering and Security that scale our security services
  • Establish a Security Engineering roadmap including quick wins and programmatic investments.
  • Manage multiple backlogs and effectively prioritize new features vs tech debt.
  • Execute efficiently in a fast-paced, fluid where change is constant and creativity is a must
  • Monitor program status and rapidly identify and measure risks.
  • Succinctly communicate issues to relevant stakeholders and proactively collaborate with to ensure a timely resolution

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 5+ years of product management experience working directly with security or engineering teams, preferably in B2B or SaaS business
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills communication, relationship management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated passion for security and the Coinbase mission
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
