Description
This is a hands-on opportunity in a state-of-the-art automated facility. The process engineer will maintain equipment while developing and physically implementing improvements. The process engineer will also consult on future equipment where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised. The process engineer will support, exercise technical direction, perform supervisory role within an engineering and maintenance team.

The process engineer will support, exercise technical direction, perform supervisory role within an engineering and maintenance team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support production operations and operators, systems & tools to enable the organization to own the process and achieve team / plant metrics
- Assume mechanical and electrical responsibilities for Plant Floor Systems (PFS)
- Organize, plan and execute maintenance and process projects including system upgrades and new installations thru design, build & debug concept
- Provide technical support in a complex production assembly environment
- Technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) advising on planning and scheduling predictive, preventative, and reactive maintenance activities
- Maintain, troubleshoot and perform maintenance tasks on equipment
- Support PFMEA, TPM and TIP processes within the plant
- Develop spare parts strategy for equipment
- Support and implement 100% GMS Compliance, in a BIQ4 facility
Required Qualifications:
- 2-year technical degree or strong hands-on troubleshooting background
- Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems (Robotics, Electricity and PLCs, Servos, Mechanical Drives or Tooling)
- Working knowledge of process equipment operations, sequence, error proofing and diagnostic capabilities
- Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance principles
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and work with others in a highly flexible environment
- Hands on engineering mindset
- Ability to work OT as needed
- Ability to work an off shift as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4-year technical degree preferred (BSME, BSEE) or equivalent experience
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of Test Systems
- Metal fabrication/machine shop/welding skills are a bonus
