Your role in helping us shape the future:
In this role you will occupy a critical role within the organization to provide engineering and cybersecurity systems support. You will ensure the confidentiality integrity availability authentication and non-repudiation of information systems operating in both unclassified and classified environments.
You will manage security audits including vulnerability and threat assessments. You will respond to network or system intrusions and ensure fulfillment of legal and contractual information security and privacy mandates. You will implement and maintain solutions designed to prevent and detect intrusion threats. You will apply your knowledge of information technology concepts and platforms to support various projects within the corporate IT infrastructure.
Are you up to the challenge?

  • Use a combination of your IT knowledge and experience to deploy support maintain and facilitate upgrades to cybersecurity architecture components
  • Use your impressive set of technical skills to maintain Active Directory policies to maintain updated STIG compliance for all systems joined to unclassified or classified domains.
  • Advise on backup strategies to ensure data and log integrity in compliance with security initiatives.
  • Configure information systems architecture components to comply with enhanced DoD security controls for government networks including the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Host-Based Security System (HBSS) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Secure Host baseline (SHB).
  • Participate in the effort to design and implement NIST Framework-driven security controls and enhancements in support of IGC's cybersecurity compliance initiatives.
  • Implement and enforce information systems security policies standards and methodologies using industry standard technologies.
  • Ensure Configuration Management (CM) for security related IS software hardware and firmware are maintained and documented.
  • Provide technical support to the end users of a classified information system platform and act as liaison as necessary with outside vendors to support the environment.
  • Support the development and maintenance of technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with the Chapter 8 regulatory requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
  • Perform ongoing vulnerability/risk assessment analysis and continuous monitoring of infrastructure systems to maintain compliance with accreditation requirements and other security initiatives.
  • Apply current computer technologies to the development evaluation and integration of computer systems and networks to maintain system security for classified and unclassified information systems.
  • Evaluate equipment to ensure the use of approved products from the appropriate Information Assurance (IA) approved products list.
  • Support the Facility Security Officer with site accreditation/reaccreditation processes.
  • Work in conjunction with Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to successfully guide complex information systems through assessment and authorization control gates.


You should definitely have:

  • U.S. Citizenship and current TS/SCI w/ CI Polygraph eligibility
  • 4-year college degree in a technical field of study (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • At least 5-years of current relevant experience as a Security Analyst or ISSO
  • IAT Level II certification(s) [CCNA Security CySA+ GICSP GSEC Security+ CE or SSCP]
  • Demonstrated knowledge of VMWare Active Directory Microsoft Windows and other key technologies
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and DoD requirements relevant to the confidentiality integrity availability authentication and non-repudiation of systems operating in a classified environment
  • Strong knowledge and experience to create maintain and close POA&Ms Risk Acceptance Letter and Waivers
  • Experience conducting vulnerability audits security configuration checks and system configuration scans to meet cybersecurity requirements
  • Thorough working knowledge of all applicable client procedures and operations instructions related to Information technology Information Assurance Information Management (IT/IA/IM) for both DOD/Intelligence Community Directive (ICD 503)
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical configurations and make recommendations on the protection of classified and sensitive data
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to provide technical direction and prioritize tasks
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills including the ability to consistently create accurate documentation
  • Problem determination isolation and resolution skills


It would be nice if you had:

  • Technical knowledge and aptitude in the areas of network topologies and network administration.
  • Experience supporting Cisco networks
