Principal Solution Engineer (Smith & Nephew., Fort Worth, TX): Analyze and design technical systems used by Smith & Nephew's operations and customers. Use advance software and proprietary data management tools to compile, filter, review, report, and load date. Research internal commercial data and develop SAP interfaces. Collaborate with the chargeback and tracing team, using programs like Model N, Integrichain, and other in-house data tools. Research and resolve operations, installations, on-line transactions, system status, and downtime issues. Monitor data flow through the SSIS package and EDI for assigned customers. Collaborate with third party resources in order to maintain and monitor the internal SAE piping tool and SFTP sites used to import data feeds. Support on-going SAP interfacing projects. Understand bridge integration with Model N defining needed changes to ensure efficient and optimized data processing and flow. Lead team resources to deliver best-practice data solution standards. Provide operational support of Model N for key business stakeholders post go-live and ongoing run support. Participate in new technology deployment initiatives and establish best-practice recommendations. Track outputs and document internal data processes. Automate and align functionality of data systems across multiple departments. Provide technical system solutions and hardware recommendations. Collaborate with key stakeholders from various business areas to support successful project outcomes. Create various operational reports using Cognos and data extractions using Oracle SQL. Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, 9am-5pm.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the medical device industry.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Providing technical system solutions and hardware recommendations for complex issues including operations, installations, on-line transactions, system status and downtime.
• Large Datasets, Manipulations, formatting and uploading capabilities.
• Maintenance and monitor multiple SFTP sites used to import data and deliver data feeds to other systems.
• Model N and SAP interface implementation, in relation to build, test, and pre-deployment activities.
• Oracle SQL PL/SQL.
• Unix Shell Scripting/Batch Scripting.
• Creating SQL and Cognos Reports and extraction.

Of the required experience, must have at least 1 year of experience in maintenance and monitoring of internal SAE piping tool.
