We are a thriving and growing company looking for a great Software Developer. This is a full role for a Software Developer to grow and thrive. Job Description

• Influence, prototype and propose application architecture, new features, and improvements.

• Standardize API design across WatchGuard Video applications

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members and other business units to meet the feature requirements and deadlines.

• Take part in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

• Take ownership and be a contributing member of the teams as well as a mentor to the team.

• Learn and deeply understand the range of Motorola Solutions internal platforms.

• Create a technical approach and a design for new features that span the organization.

• Explore and define gaps between current platform capabilities, and those needed for new features.

• Drive new capabilities and requirements in our platforms to support new product features.

• Work with various stakeholders within the platforms and products teams to improve our adoption of industry best practices for cloud, on premise, and IoT security.

• Help define the pipeline and tools necessary to support Full Continuous Delivery.

• Willing to learn and develop new skills and gain knowledge about new technologies.

• Starts and finishes tasks with minimal management oversight

• Maintains a positive attitude throughout typical work-related challenges.

• A balance between passion and objectivity.

Desired Skills:

• 3+ years of experience developing with TypeScript/JavaScript

• Experience with Azure Powershell and Python

• Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes

• Solid understanding of message based distributed and scalable system architecture

• Deep understanding of Azure Cloud services and their best use with cost savings approach

• Deep understanding of CI/CD using Azure DevOps

• Test first mindset

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Experience with git version control

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required

• 7+ years of experience developing .Net/C# with at least 2 years of architectural experience
